Learning Nail Decals Method 01

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Technique with thanks to pcontreras8nails. Click here for a great video tutorial and much more professional results. Her blog is amazing and I want you to take a peep right now. Click here.

I feel like a child when I look at my fingers.  But I know I will play with decals again.  I'm inspired to try out an emerald city manicure

A Subtle Fairytale

I know that nail stamping looks most exciting close up and personal, my Dad finds it really difficult to see what's on my nails without a microscope.  He much prefers it when I use highly contrasting colours for stamp and base coat.

Going on Dads vision, this was an experiment to see if I could see stamped images on my own hand arms length when the colours used are fairly similar.  I could not!

Base colour: Sinful Colors, 300 Easy Going

Moyou London Fairytale Collection 06

My all time favourite plate

The Moyou Stamper got lost in the post and the Konad double ended stamper was taking too long to arrive.  So I scavenged and hunted, and found something that did the job (see last picture) . Please don't look too closely at my photos since the stamping image did not transfer crisply and the detail is lost.  There is definitely nothing wrong with the Moyou London image plate!

White used: Sinful colors, Snow me White 101
Pink used: Rimmel 60 Seconds, 405 Rose Libertine
