Diwali Gradient with Mariana

I had the opportunity to work with two very talented nail artists to collaborate manicures for my birthday.  Here is the full post for the first manicure:

My amazing Mexican friend Mariana contacted me as soon as I sent out invitations to join my Diwali Birthday Party.  She wanted to work with me and create a manicure together!  I was over the moon.  We realised that we both owned the konad stamping plate m99 and Mariana suggested gold stamping over an orange to red gradient.  So lush!!!!  I was so happy she joined me to celebrate my birthday together.

Pink Butterfly

Today is Wednesday, so another October challenge manicure for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  This weeks theme is "ombre".  I used a soft pink gradient then stamped with mdu's hot pink Fiusha stamping polish to add swirls and a butterfly over the top.

There is one more challenge to support this campaign on Wednesday the 29th October.  And the theme:  Pink flowers.  Here are our instagram hashtags:

I Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This manicure is for the lovely little facebook stamping group: Stamp one, Stamp all ten!  This week's theme is to support breast cancer awareness.

This manicure needed to be really feminine, yet strong.  I quickly realised that the inverted roses on this moyou pro plate would be perfect.  Stamping these bold flowers in pretty pinks seemed obvious; but see the "tools and planning" photo to find out how I chose which colours and where they went.

I know I'm late for this challenge, but here is my three colour gradient using my brand new drk designer plate.  I love every part of this plate.  It's just gorgeous.

This is a challenge manicure,  the theme is elements, so wasn't sure whether to pick and choose from the periodic table or use the classical elements.  I chose the latter.

Four of these classical elements seem to be consistent:   Fire, Earth, Water, Air  but the fifth element is ambiguous, depending culture, it could be void, heaven, aether, spirit or plasma.

Muscles or maybe Mussels?

Here is a questionable stamping plate,  I really have no idea what this image is!  What do you think?  

Muscles or Mussels?  These ideas both came to mind when I first saw this plate.  I've chosen to stamp the latter, just because Halloween is approaching and I don't need any more gory manicures than necessary this month!  And I'm sure Konad didn't intend this image to look like muscle fibers from a biology text book.
