Autumn Blooms

It's the last day of September is Stamping month, and I have finally embraced the change in season with this gorgeous rust colour (Paprika GNP 32) by barry m.  I used an iridescent glitter as a sponged gradient on my tips and set it all off with some gold rhinestones.  I am also really happy about the chance to chop my nails off!  My bicycle needs washing, and there are a few other nail unfriendly tasks I've been putting off since I started this daily challenge. Goodbye long impractical nails, hello Autumn

Individually Stamped Flowers

As we approach the end of September is Stamping Month there are a couple of days where no theme is given.  I want to take this chance to show a blog post for a manicure that I shared in AIS for a Sunday Challenge a few weeks ago.

I don't think we've seen the last of the sun yet :)

Polka Dots

Today is the last given theme for September is Stamping Month. Today is "Polka Dots" on the 28th of September.  I am a little late in getting this one in, my nails are still not totally dry, but I want to share this mani with you before I go to bed <3.

Base colour: Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine, Dragon GNP 11
Stamp colour: Konad White

Funky French

This was not what I wanted,  I think the problem is the tips go too far up my nail bed and this is moving towards a half moon manicure. Unfortunately, this is neither here nor there, so just looks a little peculiar.  I do like like the idea but don't think my nails will ever get long enough to wear it well.

Base colour: Konad black sponged on tips only
Stamp colour: Konad Black then Konad White

Stolen Dotticure

I've never tried a dotticure before!  I scoured the net to find something simple and striking.  I also needed a look that didn't require exact precision, since I am so clumbsy while holding the dotting tool!  I have added a picture of the gorgeous manicure I copied at the bottom of this post (I would be too embarrassing for me to add it earlier since Heather's is so much cleaner!) Heather explains wonderfully how to create this look here on her blog "I feel polished" her dotticure is totally perfect <3.

Obviously I had to stamp over this, but I wished I hadn't.  It was far too busy for me after stamping.  I have posted a couple of pictures for you to see below.

Holographic Stars

September is Stamping Month day 25!!!!  Gosh the month is flying by so quickly.  Today's theme is Stars.  This manicure kills two birds with one stone since I've also been tagged by the super talented Serene (Copycat Claws) in a stamping game, and the challenge was to use a holographic polish.

I really wanted my stars on a black holo polish, but this really didn't work well (see photo below)!  I removed it and used decals over this gorgeous nude holo instead.  I was sooooo lucky that after a week of moody stormy weather, the sun came out today and I was able to capture some of this holographic goodness <3

Base colour:  Sinful Colors, 101 Snow me White
Holographic polish:  Born Pretty Holo Polish, Color 6 (nude)
Decals, from left in photo below
  • Beauty UK Nail Polish, Unnamed (yellow)
