Stolen Dotticure

I've never tried a dotticure before!  I scoured the net to find something simple and striking.  I also needed a look that didn't require exact precision, since I am so clumbsy while holding the dotting tool!  I have added a picture of the gorgeous manicure I copied at the bottom of this post (I would be too embarrassing for me to add it earlier since Heather's is so much cleaner!) Heather explains wonderfully how to create this look here on her blog "I feel polished" her dotticure is totally perfect <3.

Obviously I had to stamp over this, but I wished I hadn't.  It was far too busy for me after stamping.  I have posted a couple of pictures for you to see below.

Blue colour:  Rimmel 60 Seconds, 842 Too Cool to Tango
White colour:  Sinful Colors, 101 Snow me White

Stamp colour: Konad Black
Stamping plate: Konad m51

  5. Did you say this is your *first* dotticure? I've been doing them for 2.5 years, and I don't think I've done one this nice. And then, I love the stamp on top of it--makes it look like bubbles under the ocean. Gorgeous. :)

    1. Thanks for the sweet comment Michelle, but honestly, you would be so entertained to see me with a dotting tool in my hand. It really is "hit and hope" No straight lines for me" I really love your description of my manicure <3 Thank you for taking the time to comment. xxXXxx

  7. I am so like you! I personally think that the dotticure is lovely, but I like balance and order so I see all my own little inconsistencies in my own nail art. The stamping though? LOVE IT! You chose the perfect image that let the complexity of the dotticure come through which gives it depth and interest. Plus, who doesn't like dots and swirlies?
